TWITCHEN (St. Peter), a parish, in the union and hundred of South Molton, South Molton and N. divisions of Devon, 6 miles (N. E. by E.) from South Molton. It is situated on the border of the county, adjacent to Exmoor Forest, in Somerset. The church is ancient.[1]
