The Dutch colonies in Asia were run by the Dutch East India Company, in Dutch Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie (VOC). The Dutch VOC records are kept at the National Archive (Nationaal Archief) in The Hague, Netherlands. The VOC section is indexed as 1.04 (subsections 1.04.01 to 1.04.23). Most of the records have been digitized into an online database that can be publicly viewed.
