The Santa Fe Agency was established in 1849 for the Indians who lived in the vicinity of Santa Fe, New Mexico.These Indians included Navajo, Apache, Ute and Pueblo, as well as other tribes. After the Territory of New Mexico was organized in 1850, the Santa Fe Agency was replace by the New Mexico Superintendency.
