Organized at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, December 30, 1861, to March 10, 1862.
March to Austin, Texas, and there mustered out November 15, 1865.
- 3rd Regiment, Wisconsin Cavalry
Organized at Janesville, Wisconsin, November 30, 1861, to January 31, 1862. Mustered in January 28, 1862.
Mustered out at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, September 29, 1865. Companies "G" and "L" mustered out October 26, 1865.

Organized at Racine, Wisconsin and mustered in July 1861.
Mustered out at Brownsville May 28, 1866. Moved to Madison, Wisconsin, June 3-18, and discharged June 19, 1866.
