Instructions[edit | edit source]

Part One - Add Court Records Index[edit | edit source]

Step One - Choose a County From the Task List[edit | edit source]

1. Go to the task list and sign up for a Wiki page to review. Click on the link to go to the South Carolina county page.

Step Two - Click on Court Records Header[edit | edit source]

1. Using the Contents, click on the Court Records header to go to the section. Or scroll down to Court Records.

2. Click on Edit source beside the header.

Step Three - Add the Link to the County Page[edit | edit source]

1. Copy the following wikitext and add it under the header after the intro template and before other information.

''Online Court Indexes and Records''
*'''Dates Vary''' [https://publicindex.sccourts.org/NAMECOUNTY/publicindex/ NAMECOUNTY County, Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Public Index] – index; courts include Circuit Court, Summary Court and Masters-in-Equity, records added periodically

Exceptions:

  • Do not add the Online Court Indexes and Records title if it's already on the page.
  • Push down any other bullets of information unless it is a database link. Add the new "Dates Vary" link after the last database link so it's at the end.
  • If this link is already on the page, replace it with this new link.

Step Four - Replace NAMECOUNTY[edit | edit source]

1. Replace the two instances of NAMECOUNTY in the wikitext you just added to the page. In the URL, do NOT Capitalize the name of the County. See example below:

Example:

*'''Dates Vary''' [https://publicindex.sccourts.org/abbeville/publicindex/ Abbeville County, Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Public Index] – index; courts include Circuit Court, Summary Court and Masters-in-Equity, records added periodically

Step Five - Preview and Save the Page[edit | edit source]

2. Add the copy and paste the following to the Summary field and save the page:,br>

/* Court Records */ Added Court Records Database - project
