Adding two Hale Collections to all town pages in Connecticut

Part 1: Hale Collection - Add to Cemetery Section[edit | edit source]
Step One - Sign Up[edit | edit source]
- Sign your name next to a town in Connecticut on the Hale Collection tab of the task list.
Step Two - Click the Link[edit | edit source]
- Using the links on the task list, click the town you want to work on.
Step Three - Click Cemeteries in the Contents[edit | edit source]
In the contents, select Cemeteries. This should jump you down to where we will be adding the collection. You can also just scroll down to this subheading.
Step Four - Click Edit Source next to Cemeteries[edit | edit source]
- Click Edit Source next to Cemeteries.
Step Five - Add the Collection under Cemeteries[edit | edit source]
- Copy the following code and paste it under the Cemeteries header :
- Because the collection has dates, please put it at the top of the list and in chronological order with other databases listed.
Exceptions:
- If the link is already on the page, replace it with this new link to make it match the new manual of style. Do not worry about other entries on the page that are not in accordance with the manual of style. Please note that there may be an index for the Hale Collection already on the page - this is for Ancestry. Do not replace this link unless it is for FamilySearch.

Step Six - Show Preview and Save the Page[edit | edit source]
- Click Show Preview to make sure it looks good and the link works.
- Enter in
/* Deaths */ Adding Cemeteries collection
as the Summary.
- Click Save Changes.
- Now go to Part 2.
Part 2 - Hale Collection - Add to Obituaries Section[edit | edit source]
Step One - Obituaries in the Contents[edit | edit source]
- Now that the page is saved, click on Obituaries in the Contents. This should jump you down to where we will be adding the collection. You can also just scroll down to this subheading.
Step Two - Click Edit Source next to Obituaries[edit | edit source]
- Click Edit Source next to Obituaries.
Step Three - Add the Collection under Obituaries[edit | edit source]

Step Five - Go back to the Task List[edit | edit source]
- Go to the Task List and add the date next to your name.
- You can now choose a new town to work on.
