Department of Welsh at University of Wales, Lampeter
It is possible to study for a full BA Honor's Degree in Welsh, or Welsh Studies online. You don’t have to go to Lampeter. Previously, the fee for studying Welsh online for Overseas Students was 740 pounds sterling for every 20 credits. However, the fantastic news is that the Finance Department has agreed to trial a fairer price after long negotiations. The new fee is 262 pounds sterling for every 20 credit module. You need to successfully pass 120 credits at Level 1 to achieve a Certificate of Higher Education, 240 credits for a Diploma of Higher Education and 360 credits for a BA Honor's Degree.
I hope that this new information is of benefit to any person who hopes to gain formal accreditation in the language, history and literature of Wales.
