Ute Indian Reservation (Colorado)
The Ute Indian Reservation was located in northwestern Colorado, south of Craig.

The Ute Indian Reservation was created under the Treaty of 2 Mar. 1868. It was administered by the White River Agency which was destroyed in 1879 when some of the Ute men killed the agent, Nathan Meeker. The Ute Indians of this reservation were subsequently moved to the Uintah and Ouray Reservation in Utah.
