Genealogy Search
The City Clerk’s office will do genealogy searches for marriages only. For birth or death records, contact the Office of Vital Records at (518) 279-7309.[1]
Marriage Records at the City Clerk's Office date back to November of 1881. An application must be filled out and accompanied by a check for $22.00 for each search payable to the Troy City Clerk. Mail the application and payment to the City Clerk’s office or drop it off at the Clerk’s office. Most searches will be done within one week.[2] (as of 15 December 2011)
