1848: Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo cedes Apache lands to the United States
1872: General Cook directed military campaign to eliminate the Tonto Apache
1872: Tonto assigned to Camp Verde
1875: Tonto Apache moved to San Carlos Apache reservation
1890: Apache Wars end.
