Template talk:Discussion Notice

From FamilySearch Wiki

Have you considered using redirects to the project FAQ talk page rather than this message. By doing so it would get people to the right place to discuss issues and would be more user friendly than the message as written. If you are unsure of what I am suggesting I could make amendments to a project to demonstrate. --Steve (talk| contribs) 17:06, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for you offer of help.  What we have done is what we have considered the most appropriate considering the whole "picture".  Thank you for removing this conversation when you have read this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PearsonGB (talk | contribs) 01:58, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure I understand the whole picture. Please help me understand. My suggestion would result in users who select the discussion link for pages about a project to be automatically taken to the associated FAQ page which, if I follow correctly is the page prepared for questions/queries to be added. At the moment this template while informing the user would require them to backtrack and the select another option. --Steve (talk| contribs) 08:26, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I understand. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PearsonGB (talk | contribs) 15:18, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
