This license template is for media files which only require attribution.

The template automatically sets the following categories: Category:Attribution

Usage

This template takes the copyright holder's username and/or real name as optional parameters. Use nolink=Name to insert a name without linking.

renders as:

Note: As shown above, a set of square brackets around a URL will create a link even in the so called nolink parmeter. This is useful for FamilySearch Wiik users that have problems with User names from Wikimedia Commons in the first parameter. A more normal use of the parameters in this template is demonstraed below.
