Tanzania is a country in Africa bordered by the Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaire), Burundi, Rwanda, Zambia, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, and Mozambique. Portions of the country were formerly governed by Portugal and Germany. The official languages are Swahili and English.[1]
