The 11th Regiment, West Virginia Infantry organized at Wheeling, Ohio and Marshall Counties, Elizabeth, Wirt County, Burning Springs, Wirt County, Parkersburg, Wood County, Ravenswood,Jackson County, Kanawha Station, Wood County, and Point Pleasant, Mason County, West Virginia, October 29, 1861, to October 8, 1862. It had duty near Richmond until June, 1865.
