:The Border Counties History Collective is an association of history groups in the border counties of Fermanagh, Cavan, and Leitrim.  The Collective aims to promote co-operation between local history groups on a cross-border basis and to support their practical needs through training and the provision of information and advice.

:The Society was founded as a non-political and non-sectarian historical society to promote interest in and the study of the local history of the ancient kingdom of Breifne.  The territory of Breifne was, in medieval times, ruled over by the O’Rourke and the O’Reilly chieftains and it corresponds to most of the present day counties of Cavan, Leitrim and south Fermanagh, as well as to the ecclesiastical diocese of Kilmore.  The Society hosts a series of lectures each year on various aspects of local and Irish history generally.  It also organizes an annual tour to some place of historical interest. These tours normally take place in the summer months.  The Society  publishes a journal called ‘Breifne’ which is published in April or May of each year.  The first journal was published in 1958 and forty-three journals have been published since then.  It is now recognized as one of the best and most reputable local history journals in Ireland.

:Clogher Historical Society is a group of people and institutions who share a common interest in the local history of the southern border area, especially the diocese of Clogher.  The Society promotes local history in the counties of Fermanagh, Monaghan, South Tyrone, and parts of South Donegal and West Louth.

:Network representatives actively encourage and support the development and use of oral history in their own locality, and contribute an overview of this to an Annual Report.  Covers Belfast and Counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Londonderry, and Tyrone.

:The Ulster Archaeological Society is a charitable organisation open to anyone interested in archaeology and the wider study of our heritage particularly with regard to Ulster.  Our members come from all walks of life and from all sections of the community, encompassing all ages from students to retirees; amateurs and professionals.  We warmly welcome new members from Ireland and further afield.

:Ulster Historical Foundation is a not-for-profit educational charity, founded in 1956, with the simple yet important mission to tell the story of the people of the nine counties of Ulster.  The Foundation seeks to disseminate heritage and cultural knowledge and to generate and provide the research and educational resources necessary to support individuals, families, groups, educators, and global diasporas in understanding the history of Ulster.

:Fermanagh Genealogy Centre is an independent charity run entirely by volunteers with extensive local and genealogical knowledge.  We are the delivery partner for genealogical services at Fermanagh and Omagh District Council.

:Tempo Historical Society was founded in January 1988.
