Walker's Battalion, South Carolina Infantry was also known as the 10th Battalion, South Carolina Infantry. On April 9, 1865 the 10th Regiment South Carolina Infantry and the 19th Regiment South Carolina Infantry were combined to form Walker's South Carolina Battalion Infantry. There were six companies, companies A and B were from the 10th Regiment and companies C-F were from the 19th Regiment. Walkers' Battalion surrendered near High Point, North Carolina on April 26, 1865 and the troops were paroled on May 1, 1865 at Greensboro, South Carolina.<ref name="Seigler">Robert S. Seigler.
