Civil War Battles, Gettysburg: Difference between revisions

To identify and ancestor who was in the battle of Gettysburg it will be necessary to determine if your ancestor's regiment was assigned to either the Army of the Potomac or the Army of Northern Virginia. The Gettysburg National Military Park has webpages that will identify the military units that were assigned to these arimies. Second it will be necessary to determine if your ancestor was with his unit at the time of the battle.
