Ancoats, a suburb of Manchester Borough, was built as&nbsp;a "district church"&nbsp;in the year 1839. Called, All Souls' district church, it was built in the early Norman style, with two turrets, and was erected in Everystreet, Ancoats,&nbsp;by private subscription rather than as a commissioned church.
