:You maybe local and wonder what we are about, perhaps someone who intends to visit the locality whilst on holiday or one of the hundreds of thousands of servicemen and women and/or allied workers who passed through Amesbury during their careers, you are most warmly welcomed.  Over the last decade or more, there has been a huge increase in people trying to trace their ancestors and building their family trees.  You might live far away from this Wiltshire town, may be even overseas.  If we can help in anyway, then please don't hesitate in contacting us.  We really are a friendly Society and your enquiries/memories could well add to our history.
