The late Eustace M. Shilstone was a recognized scholar of Jews in Barbados. His manuscript research notes "Records of Jews in Barbados and Other Family Records," is held at the [[Barbados_Archives_and_Libraries|Library of the Barbados Museum and Historical Society]]. The collection was recently digitized through a U.S. Embassy grant. Shilstone's ''Monumental Inscriptions in the Burial Ground of the Jewish Synagogues at Bridgetown, Barbados ''includes abstracts and translations of Jewish monuments dating back to the seventeenth century. Shilstone also annotated the data with Jewish synagogue burial records. | |||
