== Overview  ==

The general purpose of a road map through Italian Civil Registration records is to provide a guide through the multi-year collections. Tables below list the starting image and ending image for each year's entries, along with the image number associated with the index for that year. Color changes within each table highlight a transition from one image collection to another. By general convention greens are used for births (Nati), yellows for marriages (Matrimoni), and reds for deaths (Morti). Light blue has been used to indicate a repository containing records of multiple types.<br>  

This particular road map is intended to provide a guide through the multi-year records files for Villaurea.

=== Records Split Between Termini Imerese and Villaurea  ===

The record files stored on FamilySearch for&nbsp;Villaurea contain not only that villiage's records, but the records for the much larger Commune of Termini Imerese. Adding to the confusion, several years' entries for Villaurea may be found in Termini Imerese's Allegati bundles for 1862-1910 as well as the death records for 1890-1910. This can transform attempts to locate records from Villaurea into the proverbial search for a needle in a haystack. Because of this, direct links to the start of each index and to key pages within each year have been added.  

In nearly all cases, indexes are not provided due to the small number of annual entries. Where provided, index pages for Villaurea's vital records appear to be in alphabetical order. Prefixes such as "Di" or "D'" are ignored for purposes of record ordering.<br>

There are several years for which it is impossible to determine whether Villaurea's records are mising, or whether there simply are no records for a given year.
