 The traditional location of the Wintun Tribe was in the Greater Sacramento Valley in California. The tribe consisted of three divisions -- the Northern Division, or Wintu; the Central Division, or [[Nomelaki Indians|Nomelaki]]; and the Southern Division, or Patwin.
