===Part 1: Adding Links for County Histories===
==== Part 1A: Review List on County Page ====
1. Go to the county you are working on and see if there is already a list of local histories listed under the heading.
2. If there are books listed with links to digital images, go to Part B, Step 2 below to reformat the links to match the instructions.
3. If there is not a link to a digital image of the book, start with Part B and slowly go through each website to see if an online version can be located. Then, use the instructions in Part B, Step 2 to format the links to match the instructions.
4. After you add to the list and reformat any links already in under the Local Histories heading, you will check the county page for any duplicates in Part E. Wait until you are finished with all the stops before doing this.
'''WARNING:''' If at any time the list for online books becomes too large, please feel free to decide what should be included and what should not. Local histories created before 1900 and shortly thereafter are excellent to keep because they can contain biographies of local residents and early settlers. Focus on those early county histories first.
