Most of our local history collection is available during regular library hours. However, materials in our closed collections are only available when our archivist or a volunteer is on duty. Please contact us in advance of your visit. Individuals are usually available to provide assistance Monday through Friday, 10:00AM-5:30PM and on Saturdays by appointment. The closed collection can also be made available on other times by appointment. Requests must be made to Archivist Zachary Hottel via email zhottel@countylib.org or phone (540) 984-8200. All requests will be handled on a case by case basis and depending on staffing availability. | Most of our local history collection is available during regular library hours.
