We need to re-make the county maps for Denmark to make them more legible, and easier to use.
We need to re-make the county maps for Denmark to make them more legible and easier to use.

Maps should include the same parish boundaries as the ones that are currently in the Wiki on the Denmark county pages. However, we have realized that some of those maps are missing a few parishes here or there for unknown reasons. We need to make sure to include those parishes that are missing. The maps we will be basing the new maps off of are the ones found on [https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/ danishfamilysearch.com] (links for each county reference map will be provided below), as they are the most correct of any maps we have access to.

#We need to keep the Herred information (the initial typewriter-font labelling from the original maps), however instead of labeling it over the boundary lines, we're thinking it would be better to color-code the parishes by those boundaries, and include a Legend off to the side, indicating which Herreds are which color.

#Parishes on the original Wiki maps that are divided by a dotted-line indicate that those parishes were the same parish at some point in time. If we can, let's keep those dotted-line boundaries, and we will describe what the dotted-line means in the Legend.
#Some parishes (see [https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/amt18 this example]) are separated by a dotted-line boundary instead of a solid line. If possible, keep the dotted-line boundary, as it indicates that parishes were combined at one point in time. We will indicate what the dotted line boundary means in the Legend.
