There are several large sections of missing records, some of which extend to at least a full year. The most notable may be the set of birth records starting at the end of 1878 and continuing through all of 1879. It is possible that these records have been filed in one of the other record sets for the Province of Palermo, in a manner similar to that of the 1869 marriage entries for Castelbuono finding their way into Cefalù's records. However, as of this writing a search of those records has not been conducted.<br> | |||
