:I have made some changes to the template so that the documentation is transcluded from the /doc subpage. I updated the instructions to include an example using the parameter to note the reason for the request. I have also added the ability to add a blank category parameter so that when the template is used in an example (see Maintenance Templates), the automatic category can be suppressed. --Steve 23:05, 21 October 2009 (UTC) | :I have made some changes to the template so that the documentation is transcluded from the /doc subpage. When a page in the wiki has the delete template added to the page, the page appears on the list of all pages that contain the delete template. What happens to the page after it's deleted when the template was still on the page at the moment the delete action was taken? This is hard to describe, but I was thinking that since deleted pages can be restored, then the page exists somewhere. So does the delete template on the deleted page still force the page to be added to a list of delete requests? Bottom line is - should the delete template be removed from the page prior to deleting the page? --Fran 16:12, 28 January 2010 (UTC) |
