| The records of the 30th and 40th medal contain information about buying and selling of immovable property and to inheritance. The 30th was a penny of inheritance tax of 3.33 percent in the collateral line. Until 1696 only non-Drenthe had to pay this tax, but from that year on the residents of the Drenthe were included.

|
| |
| In addition, the 40th medal (2.5 percent) levied on transactions of immovable property, including houses and lands. From 1741 were not just the 'foreigners' taxed, but also the residents of Drenthe themselves.
