'''Unit Histories'''
Many of the early Charlottenburg settlers were former members of the Kings Royal Regiment of New York (KRRNY) who had fought for the British Crown in the Revolution. They were awarded land in Charlottenburgh township along the St. Lawrence River. By now, further research shows there are a number of Presbyterian churches in the community. Information can be found in the (Cruickshank and Watt, The History and Master Roll of the Kings Royal Regiment of New York, Revised addition, 2006)
