	Before 1736 Weitbruch (in the [https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Amt_Brumath ''Amt ''Brumath]) was in the territory of [https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Hanau-Lichtenberg Hanau-Lichtenberg]. When that line was extinguished in 1736 it was transferred to [https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Hesse_Darmstadt_%28Landgrave%29 Hesse-Darmstadt].
