<p><b>Class Descriptions</b><br><u>Involving Youth in Family History from Research to the Temple - Eleanor C. Jensen</u><br>In this class you will discover the joy of Family History using Family Tree to research, record, add &amp; clear names, and be ready to perform baptisms for your own ancestors. Understand why Elder Bednar said, “You have been prepared for this day and to build up the kingdom of God. You are here upon the earth now to assist in this glorious work.” This class is for youth, beginners, Family History Consultants, and anyone desiring to help others learn the simplicity of Family History and Family Tree.  

</p><p><u>Solving Problems in Family Tree – Barry Evans</u><br>This class will help you help you learn how to fix problems in FamilySearch Family Tree.  

</p><p><u>Preserving Memories Through Oral History – Michael Palmer</u><br>This class teaches how to prepare for and create a video history of family events Sharing family memories through oral histories is an excellent way to connect generations  

</p><p><u>Genealogy Merit Badge</u><br>Exploring your roots—where your family name came from, why your family lives where it does, what your parents and grandparents did for fun when they were your age—can be fascinating. This class will help you work on several of the requirements for the merit badge.  

</p><p><u>Strengthening Families through Generational Stories – Eleanor C. Jensen</u><br>In this class, you will learn how to recognize, find, write, and organize your family stories into a book, making your family stories readily available for guidance and inspiration. A family story that teaches a lesson becomes a guiding beacon for your family while binding roots and branches together<br>  

</p><p><u>Digitizing Family Photos – Michael Palmer</u><br>This class teaches the basics of scanning family photos. It covers file formats, photo editing, organization and storage of digital photos.  

</p><p><u>Beginning Family History – Linda Peterson</u><br>Do you want to get started with your family history but don’t know where to begin? This class is for you. You will learn the basics of how to get started and what to do next.  

</p><p><u>Genealogy’s NOT Just for Grandmas How YOU can start your family history TODAY – Lisa Moncur</u><br>This FUN class is for youth and will show how they can participate NOW in family history.<br>
