TEMPLETON (St. Margaret), a parish, in the union of Tiverton, hundred of Witheridge, Collumpton and N. divisions of Devon, 5 miles (W. by N.) from Tiverton. This parish belonged to the Knights Templars, and afterwards to the Hospitallers of St. John.
