:*Microfilm:&nbsp; We have quite a few films in our Center that patrons paid to keep them there indefinitely.&nbsp;&nbsp; Most of them are from all different random localities.&nbsp; However, we have a lot of films of some specific types of records.&nbsp;&nbsp; They are:

:#City Directories for New York City and Brooklyn (We also have some of these on fiche.)

Please be aware that we do not have all of the microfilms for these areas or subjects.&nbsp; You can know for sure if we have a specific microfilm by attempting to order it at www.familysearch.org/films.&nbsp; If it is a film we already have at our Center, you will get a pop-up message so indicating.

 

:*Microfiche:&nbsp; When a patron orders records on microfiche, they stay in the Family History Center permanently, so we have 27 years worth of miscellaneous records on fiche.&nbsp; Plus we have the following complete collections: Old Parochial Scottish Church Records, Accelerated Indexing System,&nbsp; and the Microfiche Reference Collection, which is a collection of the 100+ most used books at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.

:*2 microfiche readers  

:*1 digital imaging machine, with which you can make copies of pages on microfilm.&nbsp; You can also save them to a thumb drive, which gives you the ability to enlarge and/or enhance the image.
