The 10th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry was organized at Lebanon, Kentucky, November 21, 1861. Attached to 2nd Brigade, Army of Ohio, to December, 1861. 2nd Brigade, 1st Division, Army of Ohio, to September, 1862. 2nd Brigade, 1st Division, 3rd Corps, Army of Ohio, to November, 1862. 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division (Centre), 14th Army Corps, Army of the Cumberland, to January, 1863. 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division, 14th Army Corps, to October, 1863. 3rd Brigade, 3rd Division, 14th Army Corps, to December, 1864. The regiment moved to Ringgold, Georgia, thence to Chattanooga, Tennessee, and duty there until November. It was ordered to Kentucky November 14.
