Wills
Wills are documents concerning distribution of estates to heirs. Early wills deal primarily with the nobility. 18th and 19th century wills cover non-aristocratic individuals as well. Wills date from 1500 to the present. They list names of heirs and relationships to the deceased. They are located in the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia. There is a three volume index to the wills in the Archive of Slovenia.
Wills can be used to identify family groups and relationships to extended relatives.[1]
