Sierra Leone has had that name since the 15th century. It was established as a colony for freed slaves at a time when slavery continued elsewhere. These books include population numbers, the accounts and lists of Sierra Leone's officers. Details of its trading partners and social services are also in these records. Each book has a contents page at the front so that you can see if the data set you need is included.
