Audio and Video Converters
[edit | edit source]
Preparing for Your Audio/Video Converting Visit.[edit | edit source]
- Please be on time for your visit. If you are 20 minutes late, your time slot may be assigned to another patron.
- If you know you will be late, call our Welcome Desk at (801) 240-9601 and let them know when you expect to arrive.
- Keep the confirmation email you will receive in case you need to cancel or reschedule your visit.
- If possible, rewind your tapes before coming. If they haven’t been used in a long time, play or fast-forward to the end and then rewind to the start. This will help make sure the tapes don’t stick while converting.
- Bring a USB drive for your scanned files. We recommend a 16 GB to a maximum of 128 GB. A version 3.0 USB is preferred for much faster transfer speeds.
- If you have questions about our equipment, click the “Expand to View Specifications and Capabilities” link at the bottom of each section.
- Our staff will train you on using our equipment and will be available for help and assistance during your visit.
