The historical origins of Quinzano d'Oglio date back to a very ancient era, confirmed by archaeological finds from prehistoric human settlements. The Romans also left significant traces.
Jurisdictions:
- Around the 10th century, Quinzano passed under the control of the Martinengo family.
- Subsequently, the territory was at the center of political disputes involving Ezzelino da Romano, the Visconti, and the Republic of Venice.
- Following the Congress of Vienna, the town became part of the Kingdom of Lombardy-Venetia, governed by the House of Habsburg.
- Quinzano followed the fate of the Republic of Venice until March 1797, when it became part of the Brescian Republic under Napoleon's French troops, later merging into the Cisalpine Republic.

- Ezzelino da Romano sacked the town in 1256.
- The earthquake of 1471 caused disasters.
- The encampment of the Landsknecht in Bordolano in 1629.
