The first written reference of Pralboino is a bolla from Emperor Otto I from the 10th century.

  • Belonged to the dominato of the Abbazia di Leno.
  • Subject to the Republic of Venice for 370 years.
  • Subject to Napoleonic domination until 1815.
  • Subject to Austrian domination until 1859.
  • Part of the Kingdom of Italy.
  • Part of the Republic from 1946.

Major events:

  • During World War II, Pralboino was designated as a location of free internment for foreign Jewish refugees.
  • On January 7, 1944, four ex-internees were arrested in Pralboino and deported to Auschwitz.[1]
