The first written reference of Pralboino is a bolla from Emperor Otto I from the 10th century.

- Subject to Austrian domination until 1859.

- During World War II, Pralboino was designated as a location of free internment for foreign Jewish refugees.
- On January 7, 1944, four ex-internees were arrested in Pralboino and deported to Auschwitz.[1]
