  • 7th century: Belonged to the abbey of Santa Maria a Calano.

  • Under the rule of Frederick II.
  • 15th century onwards: Belonged to the Cantelmo, Sangro, Carafa, Caracciolo, and d'Avalos families.

Major events:

  • Barbarian Invasions: Forced the abandonment of the original village of Bisaccia.
  • Saracen Invasions: Destroyed the fiefdom in 851.
