Major events:

  • In 584: A battle took place in the Campo Rotaliano plain near Mezzocorona between the Franks and the Lombards. The Lombards were defeated, and the Franks went on to sack Trento. However, the Franks were later defeated near Salorno and driven out of the region.[1]
