Record type: Lists of colonial troops who served in French army.
Time period: 1897-1960.
Contents: Age, village, family name, date of enlistment for officers and enlisted men, village locations, village leaders, marital status, name of spouse and children.
Location: National Archives in Antananarivo, the Archives Nationales in Paris.
Population coverage: Approximately 25%.
