About the Macomb County Geneaology Group[edit | edit source]
- The Macomb County Genealogy Group MCGG provides volunteer staffing for the Local History and Genealogy Room in the Mount Clemens Public Library. MCGG members also work on many indexing and digitization projects, involving obituaries, church records, funeral home records, and other genealogical records in Macomb County Michigan. Many of our indexes are available on line, accessible from the Mount Clemens Public Library's website.

Society Meetings[edit | edit source]
We meet on the first Friday of each month, September through June at 1:00 pm EST in the Auditorium of the Mount Clemens Public Library. Please see our blog/website or Facebook page for a schedule of topics. Our December meeting is usually a Christmas party/social event.
We also have a round-table discussion group, called "Let's Talk...Genealogy" that meets the second Wednesday, of each month September through June at 6:30 pm in the Local History Room of the Mount Clemens Public Library.
