Note: the index is an ongoing project and may not be complete. All materials are keyword searchable and can be downloaded and copied. Washington County Heritage Online Explore the heritage of Washington County through digitized photos. General Land Office Records Find Federal land conveyance records, including more than five million Federal land title records issued between 1820 and the present. Oregon Historical Society Digital Records Explore Oregon’s history through the Oregon Historical Society’s digital collections. Interlibrary Loan If WCCLS does not own an item you would like to borrow, we can request it from another library for you. Items available through Interlibrary Loan include books, media, microfilm, and articles from magazines, newspapers, and journals. Magazines, manuscripts, rare titles, and pre-1900 materials are generally not available. Microfilm or photocopies may be available. The Library will first try to borrow items from libraries that lend free of charge. If a free source is not available, the cardholder will be notified and given an opportunity to decline the requested materials or pay the lending library fees. Tips for Your Visit Bring a flash drive or have an email account ready to save files from scanning. Bring a list of names and dates of what you need - the more information to start with the better! Printing costs 10 cents per page for black and white and 50 cents per page for color. Staff are there to help!
