Parish History
HAVERTON HILL, a chapelry in Billingham parish, Durham (which also see); on the River Tees, and the Clarence railway, 2 miles NW of Middlesbrough. It was constituted in 1862 and the chapel built by 1866; and its post town is Billingham, under Stockton-upon-Tees.[1]
