Hospital Registers[edit | edit source]
Medical registers (Registres des hôtels-Dieu et des hôpitaux) are records of public welfare centers and hospitals. The records can begin in 1700 and go to the present. Information may be found in the records include names, ages, residence, date and place of birth or illness, sometimes names of parents or spouse, dates of admission and discharge or death, orphans ages or birth dates and sometimes place of origin. These records can be found in national, departmental, municipal and hospital archives.
