  2. Place your name next to the town that you are going to edit

  3. Click on the link to go to the town page

  4. Once at the town page, open the county page in a new tab. This can be done by right clicking the second to last link in the breadcrumb and then selecting "Open Link in New Tab"

  5. Scroll down on the county page to the "Cemeteries" section and click on "Edit Source"

  6. Copy the code for the table in the section. The beginning of the code will usually look something like this:
    {| style = "border:1px solid black; width:70%; "

And the end of the code will usually look something like this:

    |}

  7. Go back to the town page, scroll down to the "Cemeteries" section on this page, and click on the "Edit Source" button.

  8. Paste the code into the Cemeteries section.

  9. Replace the county with the town name in the title of the table. For example for the town of Darien, I would replace "Fairfield County" with "Darien."

The before code would look like the following:

    Cemetery table title county still.PNG

The code after I fixed it would look like the following:

    Cemetery table title town now.PNG

  10. Scroll down in the code to "List of Cemeteries in the County." Change this to "List of Cemeteries in TOWN NAME," but replacing TOWN NAME with the name of the town that you are working on.

  11. In the first two sections of the table, simply check the links to make sure they still work. If any of them are broken take them out of the code.

  12. In the last section, click on the links. This will take you a list of cemeteries in the county. If possible, narrow down the results further to the town that you are working on.

  13. Delete any links in that section that do not work.

  14. For the FamilySearch places link, delete the place in the search bar:

  16. Search for the town in the search bar, and select "Places within town(ship)"

  18. Select add filter, then type in "Cemetery" in place type

  20. Copy the link and paste it over the old one.

  21. Show preview to make sure that the table looks correct. It should look like this:

  23. If everything looks good, save the page and move on.
