Description[edit | edit source]
Add intro templates to 1) the Emigration and Immigration heading and 2) the Naturalization and Citizenship heading on the county page. This task is in 2 parts.
Instructions[edit | edit source]
Part A - Emigration and Immigration heading[edit | edit source]
1. Directly below the Emigration and Immigration heading on the county page, add the following in wikitext:

2. Now go to part B.
Part B - Naturalization heading[edit | edit source]
3. Below the Naturalization and Citizenship heading on the county page and before the heading (if it is listed), "Online Naturalization Indexes and Records", add the following in wikitext:

4. Save the page. You have completed the task.

Naturalization and Citizenship[edit | edit source]
Naturalization records can contain information about immigration and nativity. Prior to 1906, it is rare to find the town of origin in naturalization records. See Pennsylvania Naturalization for more information about the types of records and availability.
Naturalizations granted at the county level were kept by the office of the Prothonotary. Naturalizations could also be granted on the Federal Court level.
