Instructions

Step 1: Adding Info to the State Census heading

1. Go to the census heading on the county page.

2. Copy and paste the following wikitext to heading below any other information already listed (depending on what is under the heading, if it makes more sense to be first under the heading, move it there.)

*1890 [http://www.okhistory.org/research/1890 Oklahoma Territorial Census 1890] - Oklahoma Historical Societ

Federal Censuses were taken for Oklahoma starting in 1860. For links to Federal census indexes, see [[Oklahoma Census]].

3. Once you have added the wikitext, preview the page by clicking on, Show Preview at the bottom of the page. Check your work to make sure it looks like it should. Make any necessary adjustments.

4. Go to the bottom of the page and enter "added census records links" in the edit summary box and save the page.

5. You are now done with the task. Go to the next County on your list.
