Purpose

The purpose of this project is to add Maine Vital Records, 1670-1921 to the Maine town pages

Task List

New England Town Pages, Part 13

Instructions

1. Go to the task list and open Part 13




2. Place your name next to the town that you want to edit and go to that town page



3. Find the vital records section in the table of contents, click on that




4. Click on the Edit Source button next to Vital Records




5. Copy the following code:

6. We will past this code in three places. First paste the code under ====Births====. Then paste the code under ====Marriages====. Finally paste the code under ====Deaths====. The code after you have pasted it in all three places should look like the following:





7. Click the Show Preview button. Make sure everything looks good. If it looks good, save the page and move on. If it doesn't look good, fix it before saving the page. It should look like the following:




8. Place the date that you finished the page on the task list and move on to the next town.
